Can you say Beach senior session? Yes please!! There’s nothing better than ending the summer with some beachy vibes for your senior portraits!

When going over location options with Olivia & her mom, we chatted a bit about a beach option. My go-to spot is Harkness Memorial Park in southern CT. Basically because it has a lot more than just the beach! It’s a HUGE park and there are so many great little nooks and crannies for photos – even when you are avoiding 3 weddings and other photogs! I like having the variety of background options and still getting lots of beach time in there!

Location Options

Typically during a pre-session phone consultation, we always discuss location ideas. I have SO MANY locations in my arsenal. I like to ask questions to get a better feel as to what look you’re going for in your portraits before I make suggestions. Olivia wanted a summer session and the beach – so Harkness was my suggestion. But I also have options for rustic and country vibes, Urban locations, pretty parks with flowers and so on.
