I know, I know… it’s Spring, not Fall. But better late than never and that’s why I’m sharing Katrina and Jake’s Connecticut engagement session now!
While spring and summer are equally great seasons for engagement sessions, I love, love, love the fall. There’s something about the sunlight in the fall that is so different from all the other seasons. I think it’s because I love warm photos. And the way that the sunlight reflects off of the changing foliage and brings out all of that brilliant yellow makes for a pretty magical backdrop.
Katrina & Jake’s Connecticut engagement session was extra special since they were able to use a friend’s property with those amazing barns and stone wall. Location is one of the things I discuss the most with my couples and choosing a custom location that is meaningful to the two of you, just adds to the whole vibe of your images. You can read a little bit more about planning your engagement session in this post.
Here are a few of my favorites from Katrina & Jake’s session. Can’t wait to capture their wedding at The Barns at Stonehurst in May!
