In the new year I have been trying to make the swap. Less screen time with more reading time. Plus, I need to work on #52 on my 101 in 1001 list: Read at least 10 books. So far, I have 2.

I know I’m way behind all the rage that was the Hunger Games, but I don’t care. I’ve never been one to follow along with what everyone else is doing. I picked up the trilogy on Amazon with a gift card I got for Christmas. I’ve only seen the first movie (just recently I might add) and I found myself looking up the plot synopsis online to answer questions I didn’t understand and to find out what happened next! As I’m doing this, I thought, what the heck am I doing?! Why don’t I just read the books?! and so… here we are! I have to admit, I’m pretty excited that these arrived today! Even though I know what happens in the first book, I’m still looking forward to cracking it open tonight!!
