Happy 2020!! Now that the holiday madness is over, it’s time for me get back into the swing of things and start blogging again! As a photographer, the fall & holiday season is such a crazy time for me between weddings, engagement sessions, mini sessions and boudoir, I have very little time to sit down and blog about what I’m doing. But now I’m back at it, so get ready to see what I’ve been up to for the past couple of months!
It’s that time of year when people get engaged. YAAY! If you’re recently engaged and on the mad hunt to set a date and pick a venue… don’t stress! All of the details will fall into place and soon enough you’ll be experiencing your very own dream wedding. One word of advice I will give… don’t skimp on an engagement session. I always recommend engagement sessions to all of my wedding couples – heck I even include a complimentary session in two of my wedding packages! You can read more about why in my previous blog post 3 Reasons Why You Should Do an Engagement Session.
Winter Engagement Session
The great thing about engagement sessions is that they are perfect in any season. You don’t need to wait until spring or summer to have romantic pictures taken of you and your fiancé. One of my wedding couples, Miriam & Jeff got engaged last winter and decided to do their engagement session in March. We just happened to luck out that it snowed the day of their session. The images came out so magical… and SO romantic with Miriam & Jeff snuggling together in the middle of McLean Game Refuge in Granby, CT while the snow was falling down all around them. Check out the images from their session!
Next week on the blog I’ll be featuring Miriam & Jeff’s beautiful October wedding at Valley View Farm in Haydenville, MA. Stay tuned for that!
