Taryn & Joe’s wedding at The Ranch Golf Club was one of two full coverage weddings I shot last year during the pandemic. I’m so glad it was all happening at one of my favorite venues!

If you follow me, you know I’m at the Ranch quite a bit. I’ve photographed countless weddings there, like Raena and Ricky’s gorgeous fall wedding I blogged about back in 2019.

The Adorable Couple

Taryn & Joe are high school sweethearts who had been together for 9 whole years before getting engaged. After all that time together, Taryn and Joe did not want to reschedule their wedding. With the regulations for weddings and capacities constantly changing throughout 2020, they did not want to prolong the stress of it all and, I mean, who could blame them? They were just looking forward to finally being husband and wife and spending the day surrounded by the most important people in their lives. How can you argue with that??

So Taryn and Joe did what so very many of us did last year: adapt! They decided to downsize instead and cut their guest list by more than half! With less guests and no bar or dancing allowed, their day looked much different than what they originally had planned, but they made the best of it and still had an amazing wedding day!
