Miss S has been contemplating doing a confidence boosting boudoir session for quite awhile and I FINALLY got her in the studio!! The results were fire! In her own words, here’s what she had to say about her session experience!

Searching for the right photographer

What were you looking for when searching for a Boudoir Photographer?

I was looking for a photographer who was invested in not only the business but also in her clients. I didn’t want to be just a number, I wanted to have a connection and feel like I was a friend. It was important for me that the photos told a story about women empowerment and feeling comfortable in your own skin.

Did you have any hesitations about hiring Alison Marie Photography?

I was hesitant to take Boudoir photos for a while but never hesitant to hire Alison. She was someone I followed for years and always thought about a session but never pulled the trigger until this year. I knew Alison would take beautiful photos and seemed like someone I would connect with and after my session I can say she took gorgeous photos and I have found a photographer that I will continue to stay connected with for years.

What were your biggest worries/concerns before your session?

I worried that I would be too awkward and not know how to pose or look right. I wanted to look natural but was afraid that my nerves would get the better of me.

During the Session

How did you feel during your Boudoir session with Alison?

The first five minutes I was a little nervous but after a few clicks of the camera I began to loosen up. The time flew by, after four outfits and countless photos later I was comfortable and thought about how much fun I just had. I gained so much self confidence in myself and saw how powerful I could be if I just believed in myself.

What made your experience with Alison Marie Photography unique or better than you hoped for?

I really appreciated how Alison took time to talk with me and demonstrate all of the poses that she wanted me in first. She was very positive all session which helped me loosen up and feel more comfortable in my skin. I knew about the reveal wall but to experience that in person and see all of my pictures displayed was so unique and powerful. I wish I could relive my reveal day over again, I gained so much confidence and self worth.

About the Investment

Do you feel that you received your money’s worth investing in Alison Marie Photography?

I absolutely did get my money’s worth. My album is beautiful and something I will cherish for years to come. I also appreciated that I received all of my photos in color and in black and white. I thought that was a special touch that I had never experienced before when working with other photographers.

What do you love most about your Album or products that you purchased?

My album is beautiful and very high quality in the fabric cover and how the pictures are printed. The pocket album is a great size and also has a very good print quality. I wanted to have all of the pictures from my session and as I said before I appreciate getting every photo in both color and black and white.

What is the most important thing people should know about working with me?

When working with Alison you are going to feel like a friend and someone that is going to cheer you on. She is very invested in empowering you to be your own self and love the body that you have. Alison is also very creative and artistic which shows in her photos through the different poses and the way she uses the natural light to her advantage.

If you were to recommend a friend to Alison Marie Photography, what would you tell them?

I have recommended Alison to a friend who has already scheduled her session, I told her that she would not regret the investment and not to worry about how you might feel nervous or awkward it all goes away after five minutes.

Is there anything else you’d like to add about your experience with Alison Marie Photography?

I had an amazing experience and one that I would do again. Alison will be my go to photographer for any photography needs I might have in the future and my first recommendation to anyone looking for an outstanding photographer and an awesome person.
