Over the course of the last 13 years of being a wedding photographer, I’ve been to a TON of New England outdoor wedding venues!! I narrowed down some of my favorites from last year, so here are my top picks for 2023!

Colonel Williams Inn – Marlboro, VT

This was a new venue for me last year and I instantly fell in LOVE! First of all, I love Vermont, but the Colonel Williams Inn is such a quaint little barn venue (and Bed & Breakfast!). It checks all the boxes with also having a place for guests to stay. The grounds are beautiful and had so many awesome little nooks and crannies for photos. Personally, I really love venues that are intimate, so the Colonel Williams quickly became a favorite! Check out Lizzy and Andrew’s wedding!

Bloom Meadows – Williamstown, MA

I’ve photographed quite a few weddings at Bloom Meadows since they opened in 2017, including a winter photography workshop I hosted with my gal pal Brooke. I love Bloom for the views and the light & airy feel inside the modern barn. Not to mention they have a pretty awesome coordinator, Rachel.

Holcomb Farm – West Granby, CT

One of the reasons I love Holcomb Farm is that it’s close to home, but I also feel like it’s under estimated!

From the outside, it has a rustic barn feel, but the inside is light and bright and not your typical dark barn – which is great for photo purposes!

Wedding couples need to put in a bit more effort when planning a wedding here since it’s run by the town, but it’s the perfect spot to plan your day just the way you like it! Check out Jenn & Dave’s intimate wedding day!

The Ranch Golf Club – Southwick, MA

The Ranch Golf Club has been a favorite since I started shooting weddings in 2009. I have photographed countless weddings here and ALL have been amazing. A fantastic venue with an awesome coordinator and sooooooo many beautiful spots to take photos. Check out Alina & Derek’s June wedding or Taryn & Joe’s fall wedding!

I’ve definitely seen my fare share of amazing wedding venues – lots of them not listed here for sake of keeping this post short. But I am an open book and always willing to share my knowledge! I’m happy to recommend a favorite based on your needs!
