Pam & Chris: NYC engagement

I just have waaaaay too many favorites from this session! I had to do a blog post because I was having too hard of a time narrowing down the ones I wanted to post as teasers. 😀

I’m not really a city girl, but I had so much fun this weekend in NYC! The next time you go in to the city, the Brooklyn Bridge is a must see! This shoot was over a year in the making and I am so glad Pam decided to do her & Chris’s engagement photos here! It was well worth the trip! Plus, my family & I made a weekend of it with a visit to the Bronx Zoo and stayed overnight in Brooklyn, close to the bridge. Being on the bridge at night was incredible! Like I said, a must see!

OK, enough talking… on to the photos!

Cailyn’s 1st trip to the Bronx Zoo! I love animals, so even though she is still a little young to fully enjoy the zoo, I had a great time taking photos!

I wouldn’t want to climb this tree…

After the zoo, we met up with Pam & Chris right before sunset & headed to Starbucks for a “pick me up”!

Our next stop, the Brooklyn Bridge Park!

This morning, I took a few more shots of the bridge on our morning walk before starting our trek home…

I started to notice all kinds of locks all over the bridge… I didn’t know what they were, so I had to do a shoutout on facebook. Apparently it’s romantic ritual that started in Italy. (read more about it here)

Interesting. I had never heard of such a thing before. Some of the locks were pretty cool!

Overall, an AWESOME weekend! and super excited for Pam & Chris’ wedding in July! 🙂
