Behind-The-Scenes: Styled Wedding Workshop
Brooke from Brooke ellen Photography & I have pondered on the thought of hosting a wedding workshop for quite some time. This past January & February we really worked hard to make it happen (I’ll talk more about the actual workshop in another post).
When Sarah & her husband agreed to let us use their new wedding venue in the berkshires, everything just fell into place. Bloom Meadows is located in Hancock, MA, in the heart of Berkshire county, surrounded by a beautiful landscape of mountains, streams & meadows. Inside, rustic meets modern with wooden beams, white shiplap walls & modern fixtures. Bloom was the perfect backdrop for our vision.
Next we enlisted Melissa from Parsimony Inspired to help us make our ideas a reality. We gave her the bare bones & let her do her creative magic with it. She did an Ah-Mazing job & went above & beyond our expectations!
Being in the wedding business, both Brooke & I have formed great working relationships with other wedding vendors, so we enlisted some of our favs to help out… Hair/makeup team KiSSandMaKeUp, Stacey from The Tangled Grapevine, & super sweet Pete of Pete’s Sweets.
Melissa recruited the Don Muller Gallery for jewelry & also With Wild and Grace for all of the paper menus, invitations, & place cards. Lastly, we borrowed the most gorgeous Lillian West gown from In-White Springfield & had Dmitry from Embark Wedding Films document parts of the day. We could not have asked for a better team of vendors to come together to make this happen. We are so so thankful & grateful to all of them. I could not believe my eyes at how beautiful it all looked put together!
Enjoy!

I am still swooning over this muted color palette of greens & grays… and it looked even more gorgeous up against the white walls at Bloom Meadows. Be still my little photographer heart! Melissa from Parsimony Inspired nailed it with this table decor.
With Wild and Grace customized our menus with a drawing of the venue. How awesome is that? I absolutely loved this personal touch!
Ummmmm WOW! Thank you so much to the Don Muller Gallery for letting us use some beautiful pieces!! That engagement ring though!!!
Stacey from The Tangled Grapevine outdid herself with these amazing florals!
If I ever decide to renew my vows, a Lillian West gown will be my top choice. I am in love with all of their designs. How can you not love this gown?!
Amber & Katie from KiSSandMaKeUp are amazing at what they do. They made our model bride look fab, as I knew they would.
I seriously cannot thank all of our vendors enough for helping put this shoot together. It was beautiful & we are beyond grateful & thankful we were able to share it with our attendees (more on the workshop later!).
