Is it summer yet?!? I’m so over this cold winter weather already and dreaming of warmer days. And I’m REALLY looking forward to my weddings this year!! Jen & Dena are one of my 2019 wedding couples. I just loved shooting their Southwick engagement session last summer! Dena’s grandfather owns a gorgeous property in Southwick which turned out to be the perfect backdrop for this adorable couple’s session. Complete with a cute little red covered bridge, white picket fencing, tall grass and beautiful views, I was in photographers’ heaven!

Jen & Dena are getting married this July at one of my favorite wedding venues… The Ranch Golf Club in Southwick, MA. I first met them last spring at a tasting event The Ranch hosted. After we chatted at the tasting and then had a more formal consult a few days later, Jen & Dena booked me! YAAY! A few months later we were shooting their Southwick engagement session. It was so fun to photograph these two! They were so cute and their love for each other made for some truly romantic images!

Getting to know your photographer

I always try to do in-person wedding consultations. It’s a great way for couples to get to know me, see if we are a good fit and view more of my work. It’s so important to find a photographer that you click with! One that will listen to what you want, but will also not be afraid to give you their professional opinion when it comes to your engagement and wedding photos. An engagement session is also a great way for you to get to know me better and to feel more comfortable in front of my camera. I know not everyone LOVES being photographed, but it’s my job to try to make you feel as comfortable as possible!
