Whoo Hoo!! These two ARE GETTING MARRIED!!! And what better way to capture two of my fav peeps than a Spring engagement session at Elizabeth Park in West Hartford, CT.

I first met Lindsay at my husband & I’s home reception (After our wedding in Aruba, we had a reception at home for those that were not able to be there). Brian, my husband’s youngest brother, brought Linds as his date. I gave her props for being brave enough to meet us all at once (Poor thing. Thrown to the wolves!). She stuck it out though, through thick and thin and here we are 10 years later! She’s our “Uncle Lindsay” as my kiddos call her and we are so glad Brian found the perfect someone to spend the rest of his life with.

Even though I have to sit this one out and actually BE in a wedding for a change, I still got to enjoy doing their engagement session – the perks of being the family photographer! When Lindsay suggested Elizabeth Park as a location, I was all like “YESSSSSS!!!” because not only is it cherry blossom season (and we all know how much I love those cherry blossoms!!) but also Tulips!!! Oh my! Give me all of those gorgeous colors!
