I’m so happy the Hanlan Family chose me to shoot their Granby, CT fall mini session this year! Typically my mini sessions are booked by past clients, but the Hanlan’s were a “new to me” family and I just LOVE the way their fall mini came out!
Fall Minis were a *tad* stressful this year due to possible inclement weather and the leaves changing and falling early in some areas (It’s 2020, so of course they did.) The leaves are a HUGE factor in how I pick my fall mini session dates and locations. I typically wait until the last minute to drive all over the place scouting locations to be sure I pick the perfect spot. After viewing the Mary Edwards Mountain Property in Granby, CT I knew it was the best choice! It had the most colorful leaves that I could find!
As I said, the Hanlan family was a new client for me this year, and they were wonderful to work with! Their family is adorable and so photogenic, and you can really feel the love between them. We started out with some full family shots, then made our way to couples shots with mom and dad. We ended on a super fun note with the kids throwing some fistful’s of leaves at each other!
Here are a few of my favorite’s from the Hanlan Family’s Granby CT Fall Mini Session.
