Based out of Westfield, Ma, Honey Hair & Beauty offers on-site hair and makeup and will travel directly to you. Pretty much anywhere in New England and NY! My bride Rachel used them for her wedding (see her images below) and I was super impressed with their work. I knew I wanted to feature them on my blog! To find out more about their business, we asked the owners Ashley and Amber a few questions.

Tell us about Honey Hair & Beauty

Honey Hair & Beauty is an on-site hair and makeup team owned and operated by two local artists, Ashley Dunn and Amber Wood. We started this business in January of 2018 and we cannot say enough about how grateful we are for the tremendous amount of support and growth we have seen this year. Our team now has 2 other freelance artists and one assistant. We specialize in custom hairstyles and makeup for the bride and everyone celebrating her wedding day.

What makes Honey Hair & Beauty stand out from other hair & makeup teams?

It’s all about convenience and our stress-free experience! Our team comes directly to you so you can have an enjoyable, stress-free wedding day. And we do so at a reasonable price! We travel locally for no extra charge and all-over New England & New York for a very affordable fee. Another thing that sets us apart is that we are so passionate about building a relationship with our brides. Starting from the time they first contact us, we are so flexible, friendly and approachable because we love what we do and want them to feel that they have a trusted pair of friends taking care of them on their special day.

What inspired you to open your own business?

We already had the existing passion for beauty but with Amber getting married this year, our passion shifted into the world of weddings. We saw firsthand how hectic and expensive planning a wedding can be, and we want to be one of the most enjoyable parts of the planning experience as well as the day itself.

What is one thing you want clients to know about Honey Hair & Beauty?

This is the first time we will be officially announcing this exciting news—we are putting down roots and opening our full-service salon in Westfield, MA. We will still travel to do on-site work for weddings and big events. Opening the salon allows us to offer our skills and services to our clients on a day-to-day basis. We now are expanding our services to offer custom coloring, cutting, eyelash extensions and so much more! We are expecting to open our doors before the holidays.
