This week on the blog, I’m sharing Taryn & Joe’s gorgeous fall engagement! I first met Taryn & Joe at the Ranch Golf Club’s annual tasting event that the venue hosts for their wedding couples. Taryn & Joe seemed like a really great couple & I loved chatting with them at the event. After an in-person consultation at my studio, they booked me for their engagement and wedding photos!
I am a huge proponent of engagement sessions. I always recommend them to my clients and include them in my top two wedding packages. You can read more on my blog why you shouldn’t skimp on an engagement session HERE.
Taryn & Joe decided they wanted to take their fall engagement photos at Barkhamsted Reservoir. It was very windy that evening and after a few shots, we knew we should change locations.
Thank goodness I had a new location in my back pocket! We headed to Old Newgate Prison in East Granby, CT.
The Perfect Fall Engagement Session Location
I was recently introduced to Old Newgate Prison by another client and I fell in love with it!
This evening was no different. Old Newgate did not disappoint! The leaves were at peak and the lighting was just gorgeous! We had THE MOST AMAZING sunset that evening too. I absolutely love the way their images turned out!
Taryn & Joe will be hosting their September wedding at one of my absolute favorite venues here in Southwick, MA, The Ranch Golf Club.
There’s a huge rustic barn that can fit large wedding parties, perfectly manicured grounds and a staff that totally knows how to run a wedding. I highly recommend it!
