In over 10 years of photographing weddings, I’ve been to some gorgeous venues (and some also not-so-gorgeous venues LOL). Valley View Farm is definitely at the top of my favorite Western Mass wedding venues short list!!! It’s located in Haydenville, MA and if you haven’t heard of it, well now you have and you can thank me later! Valley View Farm is the perfect venue for couples who are looking for a New England rustic farm to host their wedding. I’ve photographed a number of weddings and engagement sessions at the Farm over the past couple years and here’s why I love it so much…

Outdoor Abundance

The farm itself is truly gorgeous! It features a completely restored 19th century barn, open-air pavilion (for covered reception space should you need it), outdoor ceremony space, huge patio, and separate places for the groom and bridal parties to get ready.  The outdoor space is abundant and the ceremony at Valley View always happens outdoors – whether it be under the covered pavilion or out by the gorgeous sprawling hickory tree. Perfection!

There are so many amazing spots for bridal portraits and family formals. Depending on the wedding – the family list, the time of day, the weather, the lighting – I can always count on having multiple places to get amazing outdoor shots. Valley View is totally for any couple wanting to really spread out and have the outdoor elements be a huge part of their wedding day.

One Stop Wedding Destination

Valley View is such a great venue because everything happens in one location from getting ready, to the ceremony to the reception. The farm even has accommodations for 22 guests and a hotel nearby. No traveling from place to place for the bridal party or guests. Did I mention it’s absolutely gorgeous?!!

The Wedding Dream Team

Valley View Farm is a family-run working farm and orchard. The owners Suzy and Greg are totally down-to-earth and truly make every wedding couple feel so special, like they are part of the family! Suzy and Greg have a whole staff of wedding planners and coordinators on board which makes for a smooth wedding day!!

A Memorable Valley View Wedding

One of my most memorable weddings at Valley View Farm was Becca & Joey. I’ve known Becca’s family for years… her brother’s wedding was my very first wedding ever!! Lots of her guests and family have been clients and are friends of mine. Plus they had Gary S. Jones as their DJ, who’s one of my fav’s and the best!!!! Each time I’ve photographed a wedding or engagement session at Valley View, it’s been at a different time of year then the last. I can honestly say it never disappoints!
