Wendy & Ben are Expecting! | Western MA Maternity Session

I was so excited when Wendy & Ben reached out to say they were expecting! They are one of my wedding couples, back from 2015. Back then, Wendy always said when it came time to start their family, she wanted me to photograph her maternity session. It was so great to see this cute couple again!

Because it was February and brutally cold, Wendy & Ben opted for both indoor portraits and outdoor portraits. We started their session in my studio (can’t say I blame them — February in New England….brrr!). Wendy wore a cozy robe of her own for the indoor photos but opted for a gorgeous emerald green gown for the outdoor portion. Of course, I may be slightly biased with the gown since it’s from the Alison Marie Photography client closet, which is one of the many ways I can help plan the perfect maternity session for your needs.

What’s in the Client Closet and Why Should I Utilize it??

It’s likely you’ve seen photos on social media depicting a beautiful Momma-to-be in a gorgeous maternity gown. And let me tell you, those gowns aren’t cheap! Why buy something that you are only going to wear once when you can choose a gown from the many I have on hand in my client closet?

I have a variety of styles & colors, along with a few floral crowns and even a couple robes if you are interested in some of those bare belly shots!

Location

With baby on the way, I know you have a ton on your mind. The last thing you need to worry about it where to have your session. I have a huge list of suggestions, from shoreline views to forest rivers. If you have a specific location, or even a general idea of what you’d like, I’m happy to chat about it!
