Ashley & Patrick’s Elizabeth Park Engagement is on the blog this week!

When chatting about location options for their engagement session, Ashley emphasized that they wanted a natural vibe and really loved plants and nature. It’s one of the reasons they chose Fern Hill Barn (formerly Zukas Hilltop Barn) as their wedding venue.

We ultimately settled on Elizabeth Park for their engagement session and they absolutely fell in LOVE! There are so many gardens and gorgeous areas for photos! You are almost guaranteed there will be something blooming no matter what time of year!

It’s been awhile since I’ve photographed a session or wedding at this location, but those rose gardens can’t be beat! Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement!

Planning Your Engagement session

I am here to help!! I always suggest finding a location that is meaningful to you as a couple, but if you don’t have a specific location in mind, I’m happy to make suggestions. I will typically ask what type of scenery you are looking for and go from there!

I also suggest one to two outfits for an engagement session. One is typically enough to get some great photos, but if you want to change up your look and get a variety of images, bring two!
