It’s been an amazing year for me as a wedding photographer. I’ve gotten to shoot some gorgeous outdoor weddings here in New England. I was lucky enough to close out summer with not one, but two beautiful weddings on Labor Day weekend! The first of which was Rebecca & Michaels romantic nuptials at Elizabeth Park in West Hartford, CT.
Rebecca & Michael met when Rebecca’s boss, and friend of Michaels, unknowingly set them up. The two felt an instant connection and quickly made plans for an official first date. They bonded over their love for golf, cooking and traveling. Just 5 years later, Michael proposed, completely catching Rebecca off guard and the rest is history!
Shortly after getting engaged, Rebecca’s dad told her he had found a venue for their wedding. After looking at two other places, Rebecca & Michael went to see Elizabeth Park & the Pond House to appease her dad and to their surprise, immediately fell in love with the venue. They knew it would be the perfect location to host their romantic yet simple late-summer wedding of around 85 guests.
Although Rebecca & Michaels wedding was only my second one at this venue, I’ve shot tons of engagement sessions here. If you’re a nature lover like me, Elizabeth Park & the Pond House Café is an amazing location to have your wedding. This place is gorgeous in every season.
Here is a peek at their wedding day…
Congratulations Rebecca & Michael! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your special day!
