As a maternity photographer in CT, one of my favorite parts of the job is getting to follow along on my clients’ journeys—from engagements to weddings, and now to growing families.

I first met Amanda and Sean back in 2023 when I photographed their engagement session at Hartford Town Hall. Later that year, I captured their beautiful wedding day at The Ranch Golf Club. So when Amanda reached out to book a maternity session, I was beyond honored. Getting to document each new milestone for couples like these is one of the most meaningful parts of what I do.

Amanda had a vision for a beach session—something romantic, light, and natural. I suggested one of my favorite coastal locations: Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, CT. With its mix of shoreline, gardens, and soft evening light, it’s an absolutely stunning spot for maternity photos.

The session did not disappoint. The glow, the love, and Amanda’s radiant presence made for some truly breathtaking images. There’s something so special about capturing this chapter—when everything is about to change in the most beautiful way.

Being a maternity photographer in Connecticut means I get to celebrate the quiet, powerful moments of motherhood before baby even arrives. And for clients like Amanda and Sean, it also means continuing a story we started together—one milestone at a time.
