This adorable couple came to me as a referral from a past wedding couple of mine (thank you Anna & Drew!). When I met with Sarah & Ben for the first time to discuss the details of their upcoming 2020 wedding, I knew we were the perfect fit!
They already knew in advance that they wanted to have their engagement session at the beach where Ben proposed. And I was all like, “you had me at beach”. Ha! You all know how much I love my beach sessions! Especially a late summer engagement session at sunset!
And as luck would have it, we were given the most amazingly beautiful evening!!
A Beach Engagement Session
We started Sarah & Ben’s session at Woodmont Beach in Milford, CT and eventually made our way down to Merwin Point to take some shots out on the rocks. I had so much fun getting to know Sarah and Ben. This session did not fall short of any laughs or silliness, which ended up creating some of my favorite shots!!!
I always recommend to my couples to do an engagement session. That’s why I include one with most of my wedding packages. Engagement sessions are a great way for you to feel more comfortable in front of the camera and also a fantastic way for you to get to know your wedding photographer! Read more about why I recommend having an engagement session in my blog post 3 Reasons Why You Should Do an Engagement Session.
Here are some of my favorites from Sarah & Ben’s beach engagement session in Milford!
Sarah and Ben are getting married in August 2020 at the beautiful Quonquont Farm in Whately, MA. Quonqount is a true working farm, set on 140 acres of orchards, meadows and forests. I can’t wait to photograph Sarah and Ben’s wedding next summer!
