What does this Connecticut boudoir photographer love more than a confidant woman looking to empower herself? Ummm….pretty much nothing because that is my absolute favorite type of session to do! Miss S came to the studio for the right reason: herself. I love that so much, because really, you need to place that value on yourself and know YOU are worth the investment. She also came prepared (which I also love) and knew some of the props she wanted to take advantage of in the studio… the bed setup, egg chair and the vintage bathtub (yay! One of my faves).

Ok. So you guys, can we talk about the vintage bathtub photos?! I’m sure Miss S didn’t get her sleeve just for this session, but seriously, how PERFECT do her gorgeous red flowers in her tattoos work with the backdrop? And the green in them picked up the ferns beautifully. It was like it was made for it. Her emerald outfit was a perfect contrast and you all know how much I enjoy a good jewel tone. It was the perfect pop of color against the bedspread. And as a finisher…She wore the “scary” outfit!!! Yasssssssss. This outfit is one of my favs, but everyone is always afraid of it. This thing covers more skin than you think and leaves a little something to the imagination. Plus is TOTALLY HOT! Black is always a classic and it works with any prop or backdrop!

It’s All About Comfort

Another thing I loved about this session is how it proves how sexy you can look and not show everything. My boudoir clients have a range of comfort levels with how much they want to show, and I respect and can work with it all! Miss S was a class act all the way and I hope we can work together again. This was her first session and she totally rocked it!
