I was beginning to think this CT maternity session was never going to happen! This summer New England has felt way more like actual England…rain, fog and more rain. So I’m not sure who was more excited to finally get to this session, me or Shaina and Bill!

This gorgeous couple had a ton of thoughts on where to hold the session but we eventually settled on a secluded spot in Granby, CT by the river. Even though the weather was iffy earlier in the day, it made for some phenomenal photos! From the light trickling through the trees to the fog settling over the water — so dreamy we couldn’t have planned it better if we’d tried.

What to Wear for Your Maternity Session

Shaina picked the perfect Maternity gowns for her session! Her bright red and crisp white gowns were the perfect contrast against the green leaves and muted browns in the sandy rocks. If you know me, you know that I LOVE color! So I’m so glad she brought red! It’s also important to pick gowns that fit your body snug. We want to show off that baby bump, not hide it! All in all, I could not have asked for a more perfect session for a couple who had waited so patiently for the weather to cooperate! Congratulations Shaina & Bill on your growing family!! <3
