Back in September, I had the pleasure of shooting the gorgeous wedding of Erica & Michael at the Inn on Boltwood. If the Inn on Boltwood doesn’t sound familiar to you, that’s ok, because it didn’t ring a bell with me either until I found out it was formerly known as The Lord Jeffrey Inn. It’s an absolutely stunning venue that has been a landmark hotel in Amherst since 1926. The Inn on Boltwood is the perfect venue to host a stylish & sophisticated New England wedding – the vibe Erica & Michael were going for!

This awesome couple came to me last summer after their friend (and my former bride) referred me. I knew we were a great fit when they asked to have a beach engagement session on the Cape! You can view their engagement session here.

I started off the day with Erica in her childhood home, while my assistant was with Michael at their home in South Hadley.

Erica & Michael’s ceremony was held at a church in Southampton. A church that their families have been going to for years. They even got to ring the bell at the end of their ceremony!

Garden Tent Reception

There are a few event spaces to host your wedding reception at the Inn on Boltwood. A fancy ballroom, a garden tent and even a rooftop terrace. Erica & Michael hosted their wedding outdoors under the beautiful garden tent. With fabric draping from the ceiling and elegant chandeliers, this tent is not your average white tent. You get the benefit of being outdoors and being surrounded by the greenery of the gardens but with the fancy indoor vibe. Here’s a peak at Erica & Michael’s reception…
