In the past 16 years I have photographed dozens and dozens of couples at various outdoor wedding venues in Western MA. While not all outdoor wedding venues are created equal, I’ve listed my top 5 favorites!
The Ranch Golf Club
It is no secret that the Ranch Golf Club is my absolute favorite outdoor wedding venue in Western MA! This venue is located right in Southwick, MA – the same town where my studio is located – which makes me kind of a regular! I typically photograph a number of weddings at the Ranch every year, which makes me very familiar with the grounds and all the good spots for photos.
One of my favorite features of the Ranch Golf Club is that everything is in one location. From getting ready all the way through the reception, everything happens on-site.
Events at The Ranch are held in the Pavilion, a restored turn-of-the-century barn. The Pavilion has polished cedar floors and all of the original post and beam framing. The room can accommodate up to 165 guests. They also have multiple options for your ceremony setup.
I love the Ranch because of the laid back atmosphere and couples it brings my way! It also helps that they have an absolutely fantastic coordinator to make sure things run smoothly. I have photographed weddings here in Spring, Summer, and Fall and they are always beautiful no matter the season!

Bloom Meadows
Bloom Meadows is located in Williamstown, MA and is another one of my favorite wedding venues! The venue sits on 75 acres of manicured lawn, gardens, meadow, and enchanting paths through the woods.
The Barn features a blend of modern and rustic styles. Inside, white shiplap covers the walls, and warm wood accents throughout provide a timeless backdrop for any celebration, accommodating up to 170 guests.
Bloom Meadows has two getting ready areas – the Silo for the bride and the Parlor for the groom. With a second-floor view, the Silo has a 14ft domed ceiling, fireplace, king bed, full bathroom, & kitchenette. The Parlor is conveniently located in the right wing of the Bloom Barn. The space features masculine accents of leather, wood, velvet, and dark tones. With direct access to the side lawn, this room allows for easy enjoyment of the Bloom grounds and yard games with the wedding party.
Another all-in-one venue, with lots of options for photos makes Bloom Meadows a fantastic pick for your outdoor wedding!

Valley View Farm
Valley View Farm is a luxury wedding venue on a historic farm located in the heart of the Pioneer Valley. You’ll be able to host your loved ones at a secluded wedding destination with the perfect balance of luxury and laid back vibes!
The farm offers a welcoming sense of place and an experience that is truly unique. Wedding planning, day-of coordination, time on the farm for engagement photos, and two separate getting-ready spaces are all included. Valley View Farm can accomodate up to 200 guests.
I love Valley View because of their top notch planners/coordinators, amazing grounds for photos, a covered ceremony area and an all-one-location.

QuonQuont Farm
If the Ranch Golf Club and Valley View Farm were to have a baby, that would be QuonQuont Farm!
QuonQuont is a classic New England farm, where old-fashioned apple orchards, ponds, flowering meadows, and forested uplands provide a beautiful backdrop for your special day. Whether you are expecting 200 guests or 10, the historic barn, post and beam pavilion, intimate gardens, and lush landscape provide the perfect setting for any celebration.

Stonover Farm
Stonover Farm is located in Lenox, MA right down the road from Tanglewood. I didn’t get to completely enjoy the outdoor space while I was there due to rain, but there are still so many great nooks & crannies for wedding day photos! We utilized the front steps for family formals and the ceremony was moved inside of the barn.
What makes this outdoor wedding venue stand out from all the others is that they also offer accommodations for your guests!

Additional outdoor wedding venues in Western MA!
Other outdoor wedding venues in Western MA also worth mentioning are Westfield River Brewing, Bliss Farm, The Garden House at Look Park, The Red Barn at Hampshire College, Gedney Farm, & Crissey Farm. While I have only photographed a handful of weddings at some of these locations over the years, all of them have beautiful outdoor areas for photos!
