Surrounded by the last drops of autumn, Amanda & Sean kicked off their forever at The Ranch Golf Club, a place that had everything they wanted – farm vibes, woodsy corners, and a whole lot of charm.

The Beginning

Two years before the big day, this couple’s love story took a romantic turn on Soapstone Mountain, where a heartfelt proposal marked the beginning of their journey to marital bliss. From that moment forward, their shared love for old buildings and architectural marvels set the stage for a wedding that would be nothing short of timeless. (Check out their engagement sesh we did at Hartford City Hall!)

The Venue

The Ranch Golf Club, nestled in Southwick, MA, became the canvas for their dream wedding. Choosing this venue was a no-brainer for the couple, who fell in love with its unique combination of a farm vibe and woodsy outdoor spaces. The Ranch provided the perfect backdrop for their vision of an elegant celebration, blending sophistication with the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.

The Photographer

Selecting the right photographer is crucial, and this duo knew exactly what they were looking for. They chose me not only for my natural aesthetic and outdoor photos, but also because of my familiarity with the Ranch. Over the past 15 years I have photographed dozens of weddings there. I know all the nooks and cranny’s of this venue and where all that golden light lives. Not to mention I’m really good at making this venue NOT look like a golf course.

The Wedding Day

With nature showing off its fall colors and the venue’s rustic charm in full swing, Amanda & Sean exchanged vows surrounded by the love of family and friends, creating a moment that would linger in their hearts forever.

After the ceremony, nature bestowed an extraordinary gift upon the newlyweds that evening – a breathtaking sunset that painted the sky with hues of gold! MY FAVORITE! This celestial masterpiece provided the perfect setting for post-ceremony portraits, capturing the couple’s joy against the canvas of a stunning Southwick sunset. The resulting photographs immortalized the magic of the day, reflecting the love, warmth, and joy shared by all.
