Another one of my goals for 2020 is to blog more boudoir sessions. Which isn’t always easy – many of my clients aren’t down with sharing their intimate photo shoot with the world. This week I’m sharing (with permission!) the amazing images from Ms. S’s intimate portrait session. She had been thinking about doing a boudoir session for many years and finally took the plunge after a referral from one of my past clients. Here’s what she has to say about her boudoir experience and why she did it!
Ms. S’s Luxury Boudoir Experience
Tell us about yourself. I’m a busy mom and self-employed. I’m very focused on self-love and empowerment and women supporting women!
Why did you want to do a boudoir session? I am a pro bodybuilding competitor and I was in the best shape of my life. It has been a goal of mine to gift my husband with a session.
How long did you think about doing a session for? Probably around 6 years! I had done fitness photo shoots before but had always longed to do a boudoir shoot.
Have you ever done a boudoir session before? No
How did the session go? Amazing
Were you nervous before or during your session? No, Alison made me feel very comfortable and I looked and felt amazing with my hair and makeup done perfectly.
How did you feel after your session? Excited and happy that I accomplished something on my bucket list.
Were you happy with your images and/or products? Yes, beyond satisfied! From beginning to end, booking through shooting, things were so easy and relaxing. Alison gave me great instruction and I never once felt awkward or uncomfortable.
