This Connecticut intimate backyard wedding took place in the bride’s father’s New Hartford backyard. I love when a couple has a unique story and this one sure did! Allison and Sebastian met online and had a long-distance relationship. I guess it helps proves good things can also happen on the Internet! So why long distance, you may ask? Well, Sebastian wasn’t really around the corner from New England. This was a case of North (America) meeting South (America) since Sebastian is from Columbia. When it was obvious things were getting serious, eventually Allison and her family went to Columbia for her to meet him in person.

Their wedding truly was an intimate one; Allison and Sebastian were surrounded by 11 guests consisting of Allison’s family (plus 1 furbaby), while streaming the ceremony for Sebastian’s family back home. Ummmm, and how cute was Roxy, their pup all dressed up in her flower girl outfit?!

It’s crazy to think that Sebastian had never been to the U.S. prior to their wedding and I love that they included his heritage in some of their details with coffee and candies from Columbia. While his family was not able to attend their CT ceremony, they do plan to celebrate with them in the Caribbean sometime soon. Hey guys, let me know if you need a photographer for that one!! 😉
