A familiar location, another senior milestone, and the prettiest sunset! Skyler’s senior photo session brought me back to her family’s home in Southwick, where I photographed her older sister Brooke’s senior portraits a few years ago.
Getting to work with a family again is always special. This time, it was Skyler’s turn! We started at home before heading to a field right down the street for the golden hour photos she wanted.

Senior Photos at Her Family Home in Southwick
You don’t have to travel far to find a meaningful location for your senior photos. For both Skyler and Brooke, that location was their family home.
I love that the sisters’ sessions share that connection. Same home, different years, and each sister with her own senior milestone to celebrate!
As a Southwick MA senior photographer, I’m always happy to talk through locations that have personal meaning. A favorite place or your own backyard can be a great starting point. We’ll consider the light, the setting, and the types of photos you want when planning your session.
Skyler also had something else on her wish list: golden hour field photos. Luckily, we didn’t need to go far!

Golden Hour Senior Photos in a Nearby Field
For the next part of Skyler’s session, we headed to a field right down the street from her house. We timed it perfectly, arriving just as the sun was setting.
If you know me, you know I love sunshine! That warm evening light was exactly what we wanted for this part of her session.
Starting at home and finishing in the field gave Skyler two different settings without a long drive between them. Her gallery could include the personal connection of home along with the open field and sunset light she had pictured.
If golden hour senior photos are on your wish list, let’s talk about them when we plan your session! Timing matters, and I’ll help work out when to start and the best locations.

Celebrating a Westfield Technical Academy Senior
Skyler attends Westfield Technical Academy, where she’s in the aviation program. Senior portraits celebrate this stage of life, including the interests and experiences that make each senior’s story their own.
It was so nice to work with her family again and photograph Skyler’s session after capturing Brooke’s a few years earlier. Thank you for having me back for another milestone!
