A Look Inside Weddings at Fern Hill Barn (Formerly Zukas Hilltop Barn)

If you’ve been searching for a rustic wedding venue in Massachusetts with a laid-back atmosphere and a whole lot of character, there’s a good chance you’ve come across Fern Hill Barn.

Longtime locals may actually know it by its former name — Zukas Hilltop Barn — and honestly, it’ll probably always be both in people’s minds for a while. The venue may have a new name, but it still has the same charm couples have loved for years.

Last September, I photographed back-to-back weddings there on Saturday and Sunday, which gave me a really fun perspective on just how versatile this venue can be. Same location. Completely different wedding days. Completely different personalities. Both beautiful in their own way.

And technically, these weren’t my first weddings there either. I also photographed multiple weddings at the venue back when it was still known as Zukas Hilltop Barn, which honestly makes it really cool to see how the space has continued evolving over the years.
